Natural matte texture with a medium, pliable hold

Reuzel Matte Styling Paste comes in a 100ml squeeze tube and is made for relaxed, textured styles with a flat matte finish. The hold is medium and stays pliable, so the style can be reshaped during the day, and the water-soluble formula rinses out without build-up. Reuzel rates it 6 out of 10 for hold and 1 out of 10 for shine. Beeswax helps smooth frizz, while the T-4 Tonic blend of witch hazel, nettle, rosemary and horsetail extracts helps keep the finish clean and dry. Work it through towel-dried or blow-dried hair and brush through once it has dried to bring out the full matte effect. The scent is subtle, with a touch of pineapple, light spice and warm wood.

1. Start with a small amount, about a little finger's worth, and emulsify it between your palms.
2. Apply evenly to blow-dried or thoroughly towel-dried hair.
3. Add a little more for longer or thicker hair and shape with your fingers or a comb.
4. Once the paste has dried, brush through to activate the matte finish and set the style.

1. Wash the hair and towel-dry it, or blow-dry it for extra volume.
2. Work a small amount of Matte Styling Paste through from roots to ends.
3. Shape the style with your fingers or a comb, adding more paste only for thicker hair.
4. Let it dry, brush through for the matte finish and rinse it out with shampoo at the end of the day.
